Infrared - invisible light that can be captured to create beautiful, surreal images. In this workshop you will learn what infrared is and how to capture it. We will cover the pros and cons of the tools and techniques of infrared capture: Should you convert your camera, use a front lens filter, or use infrared film? If you choose to convert your camera, which is the best conversion for your camera and what you want to create. What are the specific camera settings for pre and post production. And post production techniques to bring out your personal vision. We will go out and shoot and use those images for the post-production part of the workshop. If you want to get your feet wet and try before you commit to converting your camera, no problem! I have several converted cameras available for use. We will go out exploring and shooting at sites along historic Route 66, and use those images for the post-production part of the workshop.
