Sandra Foyt, Cr.Photog., CPP
Join award-winning travel photographer Sandra Foyt, author of "100 Things To Do In Albany Before You Die," in photographing sunrises and waterfalls at Thacher State Park. We will meet in the parking lot at 5:00 am in the twilight before sunrise, which is expected at 5:26 am. Then, we’ll head over to the Visitor’s Center, where we will park our cars and gather for a picnic breakfast, during which we’ll discuss what it takes to produce landscapes that connect with viewers. Topics to be addressed include composition, creating depth, and Dynamic Symmetry. Afterward, we will hike the short (1-mile) Indian Ladder Trail to walk under and photograph the waterfalls. (Note- we will be climbing down a set of stairs.)
