Dive into the fascinating world of underwater portrait photography in this workshop led by Wayne, an experienced underwater photographer. The photography segment of this workshop will be held in the comfort of a heated indoor swimming pool, and participants will learn the art and techniques of capturing stunning portraits beneath the surface.We’ll start the workshop at Wayne’s house where participants will gain hands-on experience with underwater photography equipment, including how to waterproof a DSLR and lighting setups. At the pool we will work on mastering buoyancy control to understanding the nuances of natural light underwater. Attendees with receive personalized guidance to enhance their skills in this unique form of photography. Key topic will include understanding underwater photography equipment and gear, learning techniques for achieving proper buoyancy and stability underwater, working with natural light and artificial lighting sources underwater, posing techniques and communication with underwater models and post-processing tips for enhancing underwater images. By the end of this workshop, you will have the knowledge and confidence to crate stunning underwater portraits. Join Wayne for a day of exploration, creativity, and discovery beneath the surface. No prior underwater photography experience is required, just a passion for photography and a willingness to dive in!
