How do you break through a creative slump, or break free of the idea that you're 'just not THAT creative'? In this inspirational class, we'll explore a variety of techniques for uncovering your creative spark and how to develop those sparks into concepts for photographic or artistic composite images. Once your concept is formed, we'll step through how to plan and execute the photo session(s) needed to create the components of the image, and how to legally source elements to complete your vision. Students will have the opportunity to build the framework of a composite image using images provided by the instructor. Optionally, bring your camera for capturing images to use as additional elements in your concept. Basic working knowledge of Photoshop is essential for the composite portion of the class - students should be proficient in the use of layers as well as with tools, adjustment layers and masking.
